Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also was SSC's costume designer, producer writer/music director as well as a text coach. Although she was usually the leader of her ensembles Her first directorial role was as part of SSC King Lear.
